A suite of mission-critical applications offering Pôle emploi services via mobile and tablet to millions of unemployed persons in France.

Client

“Pole Emploi” is the governmental agency in charge of employment in France. Its results are heavily scrutinized due to the official priority of the French government on employment since 3 years.

Amongst other activities, Pole Emploi has responsibility for helping unemployed persons find jobs and providing them with financial aid up to a total of 34 billion euros in 2015.

Pole Emploi has been engaged in a strong digital transformation for several years, thanks to partners including Capgemini.

Brief

Pole Emploi decided in 2015 to find new partners to overhaul its mobile applications, in order to provide many new services on mobile and to improve the user experience of existing ones (rated between 2/5 and 2,5/5 on the Apple Appstore and on the Google Play Store).

BeTomorrow joined Capgemini for this mission and was chosen for its mobile expertise and its ability to associate a great user experience with a robust and industrial quality of service.

Result

Since July 2015, first versions of the new applications have been distributed, including the critical services managing financial aids. They already result in a strong increase in user satisfaction – 4 to 4.5 stars in the Google Play Store and Apple AppStore for the new main applications.

These strong results allow us to go further. Along with the improved user experience, new essential features are already offered on mobile and will be complemented by services to employers as a major new focus.

A continuous delivery and improvement plan is engaged in collaboration with Pole Emploi and Capgemini to go further over the coming years, thanks to a long-term agile approach.
