The Ubiq app, developed by BeTomorrow for Seenovia, is featured in the specialist magazine Réussir La Chèvre, in its 15 June 2026 issue. Drawing on the experiences of two goat farmers in the Vendée, the article highlights a very practical challenge: enabling farmers to retrieve, record and analyse data on their herds directly from their smartphones, whilst out in the field.

On goat farms, there is a great deal of data to consult and record: animal identification, health monitoring, reproduction, weighing, herd movements, batch management and milk production. The challenge, therefore, is to make this information more accessible, easier to update and more useful when it comes to making decisions.

This is precisely Ubiq’s aim: to enable farmers to access key data about their herd via a mobile app, without having to rely solely on a computer or paper records.

An app designed for use in the field

With Ubiq, farmers can view information about an animal, create batches, track events or record certain data directly from their smartphone. The app can also be used with a Bluetooth-connected microchip reader to make it easier to identify animals and minimise data entry errors.

This approach addresses a very practical need: integrating digital technology into day-to-day tasks without complicating farmers’ work. The mobile app enables quick action in the field, whilst the web version provides a more user-friendly space for viewing data, analysing information and monitoring the herd’s progress.

Centralising data to improve livestock management

Going beyond simply viewing data, Ubiq aims to centralise herd information within a single interface. This centralisation enables farmers to organise their monitoring more effectively, access animals’ records more easily and share useful data with the various parties involved in livestock farming.

The app is therefore part of a wider drive to digitise agricultural tools: designing digital services that are useful, accessible and tailored to the real-world constraints on the ground.

At BeTomorrow, this approach is in line with other projects undertaken in the agricultural sector, such as Pilot’Élevage developed in partnership with Seenergi which focuses on herd management and the use of data to support livestock farmers.

Press recognition for a business solution

This article in Réussir La Chèvre highlights an app designed to meet operational needs: to save time, ensure data entry is accurate, facilitate access to information and support farmers in monitoring their herds.

By making data more accessible via smartphones, Ubiq demonstrates the importance of designing digital tools that can be seamlessly integrated into business processes.
