SHORT CUT#14
#14 -

Industrial organizations didn’t wait until 2026 to start collecting data. Sensors, connected equipment, and supervisory systems have been accumulating signals for years. What’s changed is the pressure to do something concrete with it — faster decisions, fewer breakdowns, better-equipped technicians.
Agentic AI opens real possibilities here. But the projects that succeed aren’t the ones that start with the technology. They’re the ones that start with a deep understanding of the business, its constraints, and its real questions.
This issue documents that approach — through our organization, our Industry practice in particular, and the projects we’ve built around it.

On every industrial project, we arrive with the same question: where does the data go once it’s been produced? Sensors are running, equipment is sending signals, platforms are storing. And yet, on the ground, technicians still too often make decisions based on experience alone.
We step in to connect the dots: data sources to the teams who need them, tools to real-world usage, architectures to operational constraints. Building a data platform for a network manager or an AI assistant for a livestock farmer — it’s the same fundamental challenge: making data useful for the people who do the work.
AI opens real possibilities here. Analyzing volumes no one could process manually, detecting anomalies before they become breakdowns, answering a regulatory question in seconds. But as systems become more autonomous, understanding the business context they operate in becomes more critical, not less. AI doesn’t reduce that requirement. It moves it upstream.

Industry experts to address the sector’s challenges
Industrial sectors face common challenges: environments where data is abundant, stringent regulatory constraints and lengthy decision-making cycles. Digitising without disrupting existing systems, integrating AI without losing control of the systems, and engaging frontline teams…
Whether in energy, utilities, agriculture, aeronautics or space, BeTomorrow’s Industry Division is structured to address these challenges through expertise in engineering, design, product development and marketing, as well as teams that have been delivering projects in these sectors for several years.

The Vaccination module of Pilot’Élevage, the application developed with BeTomorrow for livestock farmers, was recognized at SPACE 2026 in Rennes. A distinction that validates the approach: build a useful tool first, a technological one second.
Herdy, the AI assistant integrated into the app, lets farmers ask questions in natural language and get reliable answers grounded in their farm’s own data.
A successful adoption, driven by the tool’s ability to answer the questions farmers are already asking — at the right moment, with the right data.

An accolade awarded to the top 5 per cent of companies assessed over the last 12 months, with an overall score of 81 out of 100.
This award recognises initiatives implemented across the entire organisation: carbon footprint assessments, quantified targets for reducing energy consumption and waste, the efficiency of our infrastructure, the reuse of our equipment, and measures implemented throughout the entire employee lifecycle (training, career development, gender equality, health and wellbeing, inclusion), all underpinned by our membership of the United Nations Global Pact.
For our clients, this result has tangible value: our Gold medal can be directly incorporated into your supplier records, at a time when the CSR performance of digital partners is increasingly becoming part of reporting obligations: duty of care, CSRD, responsible procurement.
