In a post dated 13 March 2026, French Tech Bordeaux looks back at the launch of BeTomorrow’s Cities Division and its role in the local innovation ecosystem.

Designed to address the growing challenges of mobility, urban planning and urban services, this cluster brings together expertise already developed by our agency, particularly in the areas of data and regional development. It is part of a clear commitment: to support local authorities and operators in the roll-out of high-impact digital solutions.

A key hub for local areas

Officially launched in February 2026, the Cities Division aims to accelerate the development of solutions dedicated to public sector bodies and mobility. This initiative builds on existing projects and an already established commercial momentum, with several local authorities expressing interest in the proposed solutions.

Among them, Ally Mobility, a conversational AI dedicated to passenger information, could be rolled out in around thirty urban areas over the next 18 months. Around ten cities have already begun discussions regarding this solution.

Concrete solutions at the heart of the ecosystem

The division also relies on Planea, an AI-based assistant designed to simplify access to local urban planning maps. Already adopted by an urban community of over 100,000 inhabitants, this tool illustrates BeTomorrow’s ability to transform complex issues into accessible applications.

These solutions form part of the AI AXLR programme, supported by Bpifrance, which combines products, support and bespoke developments to accelerate the adoption of AI within organisations.

A strengthened presence in the ecosystem

Beyond the solutions themselves, we are reaffirming our commitment to the local ecosystem through our participation in several key events. Ally Mobility will be showcased at the Mobco trade fair in June 2026 in Paris, whilst Planea will be highlighted at the Grand Ouest Urban Projects Forum in Bordeaux.

Through the launch of this hub, we are reaffirming our commitment to establishing a long-term position on urban challenges and strengthening our role as a key player in innovation within the regional ecosystem.
